The popular Afro-Beat singer and Radio Presenter, Rotimi Martins, popularly known as ‘Alariwo of Africa’, this Friday morning, April 22, 2016, absconded with the fare of a tricycle operator which he boarded from Ogba-Berger.
Alariwo, dressed in blue Ankara native with his usual hat alighted immediately the tricycle stopped at Berger at the front of Lagos State Public Works Corporation building. While other passengers were making payments, Alariwo took to his heels.
Surprised with this development, the tricycle operator quickly called the attention of other passengers to Alariwo’s act; and they resolved to call him back but before they could shout Alariwo, he was already on the motorcycle at the park of Isheri-Olowoora/Magodo.
Passers-by advised the tricycle operator to give him (Alariwo) a chase but the reasonable rider decided not to embarrass him.
